It's been almost a year since I updated this site.
In fact the only Vintage Karting I've done in the last year was Brodhead last summer. I don't have a good excuse so I won't waste even a bad one here.
The good news for me anyway is I spent most of the day getting ready for Barnesville next month. I have my hotel and registration taken care of and there isn't much to do on the Blackhawk Mark VII that I'm taking. It ran a year and a half ago when I put it away, right? Mount a new set of fronts, pressure check the engine and give the kart a good once over and I'll be good to go. Right? Yeah right!
So we had the planning meeting for Brodhead last weekend and the format will be the same as last year except we won't make the Historic drivers stand on the front straight and talk about their kart like last year. We still want to know about the karts but it seems most were a bit uncomfortable talking on the mike. So we threw that whole deal out in favor of just having fun. We will still have announcer cards and we will make him do the talking.
